I’m trying to learn vector drawing. It’s not that bad. This was chapter 5′s lesson: drawing a pear. Basically, it teaches how to draw the outlines of the pear. Alternating between smooth and corner points.

Why is it so difficult to get into learning a program? I’ve procrastinated reading the Adobe Illustrator CS3 Classroom In A Book by reading entertaining books instead. WHY. I know I have to learn this program eventually.

I am avoiding studying for finals. All I can think of is doing portraits. It’s the perfect lighting and weather this evening to be drawing.
Had trouble making him look like the picture from vietnam. Admittedly, I made him look older

I was actually starting to give up once I painted the shirt red. Managed to sort of save it? I like b&w better. I feel that it looks really blotchy in picture. Listen to “Sky Might Fall” by Kid Cudi.
